Overview

IST Management is seeking a Hospitality Supervisor to join the Downtown St. Louis Team! The Hospitality Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing all hospitality and client service operations within a prestigious law firm environment. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional white-glove service for attorneys, clients, visitors, and firm leadership while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and operational excellence. The Hospitality Supervisor manages conference center operations, catering services, reception support, event coordination, and hospitality team performance.

Hourly Compensation: $24.00-26.00 DOE

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm. Must have flexible work schedule to help support events in the evening and on weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

The Hospitality Supervisor is responsible for providing hands on hospitality and administrative support services. Other duties include:

  • Hospitality Operations
  • Supervise daily hospitality and conference services operations.
    Ensure meeting rooms, boardrooms, and client areas are prepared and maintained to law firm standards.
    Coordinate food and beverage services, catering deliveries, and special events.
    Conduct regular inspections of hospitality spaces to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and presentation.
  • Team Leadership
  • Supervise hospitality attendants, conference services staff, and related support personnel.
    Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
    Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for business needs.
    Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
  • Client and Attorney Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hospitality-related requests.
    Build strong relationships with attorneys, executive leadership, and administrative teams.
    Anticipate client needs and proactively resolve service issues.
    Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all interactions.
  • Event & Conference Management
  • Coordinate internal meetings, client events, receptions, and special functions.
    Manage room reservations and event logistics.
    Partner with vendors and catering providers to ensure flawless execution.
    Monitor event budgets and service quality.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Maintain inventory levels for hospitality supplies and refreshments.
    Ensure compliance with company policies, law firm standards, and health and safety requirements.
    Prepare operational reports and service metrics.
    Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the client experience.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates must have the ability to confidently interact with clients and visitors, possess excellent communication abilities, and are ready to grow in their professional career. Previous experience in a reception or administrative role is a huge plus! Other qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; authorization to work for any employer in the US required 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; willingness to cross-train for other job functions
  • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs on occasion
