We are seeking a dynamic professional individual with an excellent background and experience of 3+ years in facilities support personnel who reports to the Facilities On-site Operations Manager within a corporate setting environment as a Workplace Services Assistant Facilities Manager located in Port Arthur, TX.  This role requires flexibility in the work schedule as well as ability to coordinate with various facilities related duties in efforts to help coordinate and ensure full compliance is met on all required building maintenances, permits, regulartory audits, event preps, etc.  The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented with a focus in customer service.  IST Management Services is the fastest growing national management company in the industry.  IST Management is a BPO Company (Business Process Outsourcing) specializing in providing solutions for the management of physical and digital information through Facilities Management, eDiscovery, and Electronic Document Management services.

Hourly Compensation: $35.00 - $35.00 USD per hrly (DOE)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday   7:00 AM - 6:00 PM  (may include some evenings and weekends)

Location:   Port Arthur, TX  

The responsibilities of the Workplace Services Assistant Facilities Manager is to help coordinate and ensure full compliance is met on all required building maintenances, permits, regulartory audits, event preps, etc.  Additional responsibilities include:

• Assist and support the On-site Operations Manager with daily facilities operations
• Help maintain a safe and functional work environment while staying compliant with all company policies and regulartory requirements
• Monitor facility conditions and report any issues to On-site Operations Manager and be prepared to address issues accordingly
• Assist in coordinating preventative maintenance programs, system inspections, and equipment repairs
• Maintain knowledge of building systems including HVAC, building automation systems (BAS), fire alarm systems, lighting controls, and backup power systems
• Be able to monitor, track and maintain needed documentation (building records, project files, operational reports, contracts, and regulatory documentation)

The qualifications of the Workplace Services Assistant Facilities Manager is to help coordinate and ensure full compliance is met on all required building maintenances, permits, regulartory audits, event preps, etc.  Additional qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• 3 years or more experience and skilled in facilities management in a corporate setting environment required
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written with clients and vendors - a must
• Flexability with schedule required
• Excellent organizational skills - a must
• Must be an analytical and critical thinker 
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) required
