Overview

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a Mailroom Clerk to deliver mail and packages on foot to various departments within our office building. The successful candidate will also be responsible for processing outbound FedEx and UPS shipments. This is an entry-level position, and no prior experience is required. However, the ideal candidate will be able to provide a high level of customer service, be reliable, and have a strong attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities:

 
  • Deliver mail and packages to various departments within the office building on foot
  • Process outbound FedEx and UPS shipments, including preparing shipping labels and packaging materials
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Maintain a clean and organized mailroom area
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and respond to mail-related inquiries
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
 

Requirements:

 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior experience required, but previous mailroom or customer service experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and walk long distances within the office building
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

This direct hire role Mail Delivery - Full-Time. Hours will range within M-F 7:00AM- 6:00PM.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Must have access to reliable transportation 
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - College Degree is a plus and allows a fast track plan to management
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Windows environment PC skills
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Lifting up to 55 pounds
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background checks
