Overview

We are hiring an on-site Business Development Representative in Event Sales at Halidom Eatery on Moreland Avenue in Atlanta, GA - near the East Atlanta Village neighborhood.

 

The BDR will work on-site at our offices performing cold-calling and other b2b sales functions - reaching out to local businesses and other associations to keep the event pipeline and private event space full, and on-site at Halidom Eatery performing tours for prospective clients. Will also handle inbound inquiries. Candidates will need to have at least 1 year of cold calling experience, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Experience using Hubspot, TripleSeat, and/or Toast is a huge plus!

 

Halidom Eatery hosts 11 diverse food vendors and features the beautiful Bar La Rose, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere is elevated casual, contemporary, and energetic. Our private event space, The Jungle Room, is perfect for parties, meetings, and intimate gatherings.

Compensation 

 

Base salary 55,000.00 - 65,000.00 USD/yr + Commission and Bonus

 

Up to 7% commission on events booked, possible bonus based on monthly revenue generated from booked events 

 

Benefits options include: Medical, Dental, Vision, EAP, and 401K, Paid Time Off (12 days/yr), four Paid Holidays

Responsibilities

The BDR will work on-site at IST Management HQ performing cold-calling and other b2b sales functions - reaching out to local businesses and other associations to keep the event pipeline and private event space full, and on-site at Halidom Eatery performing tours for prospective clients. Will also handle inbound inquiries.

 

  • Developing new business and expanding existing business by establishing and maintaining contacts; cold calling and prospecting
  • Working in tandem with Events Director and staff at Halidom Eatery
  • Leading event space tours; making compelling presentations to decision-makers
  • Reporting and other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 1 year of b2b cold calling experience, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Experience using Hubspot, TripleSeat, and/or Toast is a huge plus! Other qualifications include:

 

  • Computer skills; internet savvy, social media skills, MS Office
  • CRM experience
  • Legal authorization to work for any employer in the US
  • Diploma or GED
