Overview

We are seeking candidates with 1+ year of experience in office services and/or facilities services to join our team in Jersey City! Ideal candidates will be ready to grow their career in facilities and office services, and to take advantage of internal opportunities at IST Management for training and development toward advancement into management roles.

Hourly Compensation: $21.00-$21.00 USD

Responsibilities

The Conference Center Associate will be in charge of a team making sure the day-to-day of the office happens by maintaining white glove service.

  • Services to include: Conference room management and bookings, kitchen and break room services, portering services and office supply management.
  • A/V reservation and set-up and breakdown.
  • Provide PAR level maintenance of customer supplies
  • Inventory of daily used supplies and will replenish with next day delivery
  • Manage all reservations for conference rooms/hoteling.
  • Set-up and breakdowns for all meetings.
  • Coordinate catering for all meetings.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • 1+ year of experience in office services and/or facilities and maintenance services or a related field is required
  • Strong technical skills with audio/visiual or willingness to learn
  • College Degree preferred and may allow for an accelerated path toward managerial roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Willingness to cross-train for other job functions
