Overview

IST Management Services is seeking a Legal Office Services- On Site Operations Manager.  Ideal candidates will possess legal environment office management experience, and are ready to step into a hands-on team leadership role. The Legal Office Services- On Site Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and fostering a professional and pleasant working environment, reporting and staff development.  As the Legal Office Services- On Site Operations Manager, you will provide excellent customer service in the fields of records management, document control and mail room coordination.

Hourly Compensation: $25.00-$30.00; based on experience

 

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday normal business hours

Responsibilities

The Legal Office Services - On Site Operations Manager will be responsible for fostering a professional and pleasant working environment, reporting and staff development.

  • Scheduling - Create daily and weekly schedules based on activities/projects
  • Quality Control - Ensure all work standards are met on a consistent basis and provide feedback to staff 
  • Reporting - Collect daily metrics to confirm all work is being completed according to the established deliverables and prepare for the next business day
  • Training - Provide training on responsibilities and best practices
  • Coordination of on-site services provided including records and document management, and administrative support
  • Maintain effective written and oral communications with clients and employees
  • Prioritize work and deploy staff as required to ensure customer needs are met in regards to on-time delivery of services and quality of work
  • Develop new procedures to improve the operation of the site and to lower operating costs

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have prior management experience in a legal office environment (required), exceptional attention to detail and organization skills. Additional qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
  • One to four years’ experience supervising or managing similar operations
  • Knowledge of supervisory techniques to manage, motivate and train employees
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with computer basics
  • Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems
  • Must have customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, high level of service
  • Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize; A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to and from work
