Overview

IST Management is seeking a Hospitality Office Services Associate for the downtown Chicago team! The Hospitality Office Services Associate is responsible for providing Corporate Hospitality and other administrative support services on-site in a team environment. Ideal candidates are customer focused, possess prior relevant experience, are tech savvy, willing to train, and are ready to grow in their office services and facilities management career!

Hourly Compensation: $16.50 - $16.50 

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

 

 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Hospitality services- conference room management: setups and breakdowns for meetings, AV support, assist with catering orders, stage food, replace beverages throughout site, assist with cleanups
  • Ordering supplies, maintain supply inventory 
  • Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages; Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines; Take direction from supervisor or site manager
  • Participate in cross-training; Adhere to all safety procedures
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) 
  • Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
  • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy; access to reliable transportation to and from work
  • Lifting up to 55 pounds
