TS SCI Cleared Receptionist - Sterling, VA (FT)

This is a full time direct hire position. The receptionist will work closely with the Facilities, Executive Administrative Staff, and Property Management to ensure that all daily operational, maintenance and janitorial tasks are taken care of to maintain the value and appearance of operations. We observe a business professional dress code. Must be willing to cross train for potential advancement opportunities!

Compensation: $30 - $32 (DOE) hourly

 

Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 30 minute lunch) NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform reception duties which include smiling, greeting visitors and employees, answering phones, conference room scheduling, and various administrative functions
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude.
  • Maintain logbooks, including sign-in/out logs, front desk expenditures, and calls received.
  • Manage front office reception area by cleaning and organizing desk and visitor lobby.
  • Maintain visitor logs in the reception area during normal business hours and in secure suite for overnight/weekend storage.
  • Maintain accountability / inventory / positive control of Visitor badges, Employee Temp badges, and Conference Badges when not in use.
  • Report missing badge to local security staff.
  • Issue the correct/appropriate badge based on guidance provided by local security staff.
  • Check badge return box located in the building’s lobby twice per day; morning and afternoon
  • Ensure that every visitor completes the appropriate visitor log to include all entries; include their name, affiliation, identification number (last four of SSN), Point of Contract, date and time of arrival and departure.
  • Check Security Clearance repository Tool (Guardian Tool) for approved visit certifications / approved clearance verification.
  • Contact local security staff for verification of appropriate clearance if not in Guardian.
  • Pickup and sort mail. Sign and account for overnight mail deliveries and ensure delivery is made to recipient. 
  • Set-up and breakdowns for meetings/general housekeeping of all conference rooms.
  • Kitchen supply management including ordering and restocking of supplies.
  • Clean refrigerators twice a month.
  • Internal building move coordination.
  • Respond, coordinate, and submit building related issues with property management and/or outside contractors.
  • Assisting with running/managing occupancy report for the location
  • Escorting non-badged visitors/other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications

  • Must have a Government TS-SCI with poly eligible clearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - College Degree is a plus and allows a fast-track plan to management.
  • Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (word, excel, power point a must)
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
  • Capable of lifting up to 55 pounds.
  • Willingness to cross-train for other job functions.
  • Experience in a facilities / office services a plus
